Volkswagen has once again demonstrated its commitment to innovation with the unveiling of the ID.7, the automaker's premier all-electric entry into the upper mid-size sedan class. With a European and Chinese launch scheduled for Fall 2023 and a North American debut set for 2024, the ID.7 is poised to make a significant impact on the electric vehicle market.

One of the most striking features of the ID.7 is its impressive range. Thanks to a combination of excellent aerodynamics and a cutting-edge, efficient drivetrain, the sedan boasts a manufacturer's estimated potential range of up to 700 km (based on WLTP cycle). This long-range capability, coupled with a spacious and well-appointed interior, positions the ID.7 as an ideal choice for extended journeys.

The ID.7 also introduces a large new 15-inch display, an augmented reality head-up display, and operating concept for Volkswagen, offering an enhanced user experience that seamlessly blends form and function. This is evident in the vehicle's advanced air conditioning system, which works in tandem with available Climatronic seats and massage functions to deliver unparalleled travel comfort.

The ID.7 car comes with enhanced assistance systems for best-in-class driving performance. The car has Travel Assist with swarm data to take over lateral and longitudinal control, allowing for assisted lane changing on multi-lane motorways with the driver monitoring. It also has parking assistance capabilities, including memory parking up to 50 meters, which allows the driver to monitor remotely or stay seated inside the car.

Additionally, the ID.7 features an optional panoramic sunroof equipped with switchable smart glass opacity. This innovative technology enables passengers to control the amount of sunlight entering the cabin, further elevating the level of comfort and customization offered by the vehicle.
